Martino's Resturant is a family operated Resturant that has been open for over 40 years. Plenty of customers, that were greeted by first name, entered as I prepared to eat myself.I ordered the handmade lasagna with some toasted bread and an italian Perino for my beverage. The plating was so well that I wanted to preserve the food. The lasagne was cradled by a sweet and savory sauce. The Pasta itself, was so fluffy I thought I might bite thru the plate. The cheese was gooey and rich but light as a feather.Overall the food was so exquisite, that I cleaned my plate wanting to capture all the flavorful juices. I have never visited Italy myself, but I feel like I had an authentic taste in Martino's.Ps: And they deliver.#management

A North Side gem, this Italian joint can fulfill all of your marinara-flowing dreams. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle, and it came out immediately. I dipped the warm bread into my soup, and was excited for the next thing I had ordered: a pizza. 15 minutes after the soup, my steaming 10 inch pepperoni pizza was placed on the table. It was fantastic! All in all, this is a great place to go if you are in need of italian cuisine.

Don't miss the thin crust Capriciosa pizza...SO good. Wide selection of traditional Italian fare, plus ribs and other options makes it easy for everyone to get what they want. Service is always quick and friendly. They've been here for decades and know what they're doing.

Great! It's been a favorite for years. Good food, good service, reasonable prices. Veal Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Spinach, and pizza with spinach and garlic are the best.

I love the ambiance. I felt transported to a different time, a simpler time. The staff was kind and attentive. The food was classic Italian cooking. I liked the pizza, nice and crispy. I'll definitely visit again and try something else, but I definitely enjoyed just being in the restaurant. Give them a try, definitely worth it for me on a Tuesday night.

I believe this place gave me food poisoning. They have to be serving rotton chicken wings or sausage from their pizza because I kept throwing up everything last night. Never coming here again.

Quiet and empty restaurant the wkend I went with a dine in party of 14 but the staff was very polite and accommodating. The pizza is delicious! I live in the south suburbs but will travel and hour just to get this pizza again.

The most delicious Italian Beef sandwich I've ever eaten. With au jus on the side. Huge and delicious, the meat is tender. And the au jus is from another world. But I wish the cole slaw were delivered colder.

I have been to this restaurant dozens of times and have never had anything I didn't like. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, pasta, calzones...you name it, it's all good. Usually, the only thing I don't care for is the music. (My taste buds don't think that's important, though!)

Great family run restaurant with tasty food at reasonable prices. Love the thin crust pizza. Hubby loves the Chicken Oreganato and the Chicken noodle soup is great.

Family owned authentic Italian food! I have been going to this restaurant since I was 18 years old. I have brought my grown children Since birth. Pizza is the best around. The minestrone soup is one of a kind no other restaurants come close to that soup. Make sure you eat the soup with their homemade bread sticks delicious. Service is stellar.

This special intimate and family restaurant has the most friendly and personable waitresses! Their thin crust pizza has the most tender crust. You can taste every delicious layer of their lasagna. The chicken dishes and stuffed artichokes taste like my grandmother lovingly made....Awesome! The meat sauce is to DIE for! Don't forget the minestroni soup and salad! They have a full bar and (at this time) Miller High Life beer on tap!

The place offers a great variety of fresh food. I love dining here. Staff members are always very nice, rates are reasonable and the place is always well organised.

What a beautiful experience in this old style Italian Restaurant. We were greated by the owner, she also was our server since we were there in the middle of shifts change I guess she was the only ones in the restaurant, she was really kind and helpful a the end of our meal we also met the daughter and we discovered than that was a family business with one daughter in the kitchen one in the front and the Mom at the head of everything. What a nice family atmosphere in this place and what really surprised me was the incredible cleaning in all the restaurant. Everything was just clean at the perfection from the ceiling fan to the restroom and this is really hard to find in the restaurant. We were just visiting Chicago but I'm sure if we were locals we want dining there once a week at least.

Used to be a great local Italian restaurant but lately the food is not as good as it used to be. The meat sauce has virtually no meat. The pasta is not well strained. No drink refills. They do have a really good canoli (dessert).

A favorite of our family! Dining in, pickup or delivery, it's all great! Garlic sticks are a must. Served at the table with your meal, but you should definitely order them with your pickup/delivery!
